Important COVID-19 Centre Update
On Wednesday 9th June 2021, it was announced by Acting Premier James Merlino that from 11.59pm on Thursday 10 June, significant safe steps will be taken toease restrictions in Metro Melbourne.
Eased Restrictions in Metro Melbourne from 11.59pm Thursday 10 June 2021
- All retail can re-open and personal services such as beauty and hairdressing can resume for services where masks can remain on.
- Cafes and Restaurants will re-open seated areas, with a cap of 50 people per venue, subject to density requirements of one per 4 square metres.
- The five reasons to leave home will be removed and the 10km travel limit will be increased to a 25km radius.
Additionally, Government approved QR Code Check In systems are now compulsory in all retail and workplace settings, including supermarkets.
For your safety and the safety of others, it is mandatory for you to wear a face mask while in centre, unless you have a medical exemption or under the age of 12 years old.
